Terms of service
The rules of the nag.
Short, because the service is simple.
What YouForgot is
YouForgot sends reminder messages, on your behalf, about personal obligations between you and people you know — money owed between friends, chores, borrowed items, RSVPs. Messages continue on an escalating schedule until the recipient completes, snoozes, or disputes the item, or you cancel it.
What YouForgot is not
It is not a debt-collection agency, and you may not use it as one. Do not log commercial debts, purchased debts, or obligations of strangers. Do not use YouForgot to harass, threaten, or contact someone who has disputed an item or asked you to stop. We suspend accounts that do.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that what you log is real, that the amounts and details are accurate, and that you have a genuine personal relationship with the recipient. You are responsible for the contact information you provide being correct.
Recipients
Recipients owe us nothing and can stop all messages at any time — via the link in every message or by replying STOP to any text. A disputed item pauses all messaging immediately.
The service
YouForgot is provided as-is. We work hard to deliver messages on schedule but do not guarantee delivery, and we are not a party to — or enforcer of — the underlying obligation. Whether the drill comes back is, legally speaking, between you two.
